The students at Newcastle Sixth Form College are taking on a new vision for our college community, with the acronym ASPIRE, to help them succeed and really enjoy their A Level experience. Helping our new students in their early studies and supporting our Year 13 students as they get ready to look at Higher Education options and employment beyond college, means that we want every student to be aspirational for the college and more importantly themselves.

Using ASPIRE in everything we do is a real opportunity to embed a strong positive culture at the sixth form and we launched the initiative this week at our first IAG event for new students next year.

The six letters of ASPIRE stand for Ambition, Support, Passion, Inspiration, Respect and Endeavour, and each half term we will have a range of initiatives to develop the cross college themes. October is Ambition month, with students and staff making recommendations for their peers who already show the Ambition needed for lasting success.
