Getting Ready to Run

We have been getting ready for the official Blue Wave at the Great North 10km run this weekend, and with almost 200 staff, students and supporters taking part as a combined community of colleges (NSFC, Newcastle College and NCUC), we are really excited about this huge community to show our place in the wider North east community. Our efforts have even caught the eye of Great North Run organisers, who sent along a camera crew to interview staff and students who are taking part, which will be used in the official coverage of the event, and the global promotion of Great Run events. Our staff and students showed their enthusiasm for running, positive healthy lifestyles and the importance physical activity plays in good mental health.
