Fantastic Performance by GCSE Maths Students

Fantastic performance by our GCSE Maths students at NSFC for winning outright the regional MEI Maths Competition against 6 other teams and now reaching the National Finals. Our students attended yesterday's MEI FE Maths Competition Regional Final, winning their category and earning a spot in the National Final in the Midlands next month. Well done to our inspiring maths learners who demonstrated great skills, determination and enthusiasm yesterday at the Vertu Arena. You are great advocates for what you can achieve, and everyone at NSFC is extremely proud of you.

Bridging Theory & Practice in Sociology

We've recently had the pleasure of welcoming Ross from Explain Research Ltd to speak with our Year 12 Sociology students as they begin their Research Methods module. Ross shared invaluable real-world insights into social research, covering key concepts such as research design, methodology, sampling, and the ethical considerations essential to high-quality sociological inquiry. Our students gained a deeper understanding of how sociological research is planned, conducted, and interpreted in professional settings - reinforcing the importance of empirical evidence, critical thinking, and ethical practice when studying society.
